Extraction and Isolation. The filtered fermented broth (50 L) of
C. joca 89041201 was partitioned three times with 50 L of recycled ethyl
acetate, then concentrated under vacuum to dryness (3.0 g). Subsequently,
the crude extract was redissolved in 20 mL of MeOH, then
applied onto a Sephadex LH-20 column (3 cm i.d.  35 cm) eluted by
MeOH
H2O (4:1, v/v) with a flow rate of 2.5 mL/min.
