in this study, we used two parameters, including TEWL value and skin redness, measured by
biophysical instruments to determine the safe result of the product. Moreover, skin visual scoring was assessed by the dermatologist. TEWL is a parameter that describes the ability of skin for evaporation of water molecules into the surrounding environment whereas an appearance of skin redness or erythema indicates the dilation of the arterial vessel under skin. The development of erythema and increases in TEWL value are the most common signs of skin irritation.
