The average weight gain of the control
young bulls was 912 g (variations were 805–990 g from
month to month); average weight gain of the experi
mental animals was 86–98 g more (9.43–10.75%
higher); absolute weight gain for the experiment was
16.8–19.2 kg more or 9.45–10.80% higher. The great
est economic impacts were obtained from the young
bulls of the experimental groups: labor costs, feed
units, metabolic energy, digestable protein, and unit
costs were 8.69–9.80%, 8.30%, 7.06–9.25%, 7.88–9.40%, and 4.41–6.12% lower per centner weight
gain, respectively.
