Since January 2015 Aeroworks is part of the HEICO corporation. The United States Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) requires all publicly traded companies in the United States to undergo the process of determining the sources of any tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold (“3TGs”) within its products. The legal requirement is found in Section 1502 of the “Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act” which identifies certain “Conflict Minerals” as financing armed conflict in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and its surrounding countries. To comply with these legal requirements, Aeroworks must obtain accurate information from you and our other suppliers about whether raw materials, components or other parts (“Goods”) in our products contain these Conflict Minerals (currently limited to tungsten, tin, tantalum, gold and their derivatives).
We need to report the conflict mineral composition for all parts purchased during the period of 1/1/2015 to 31/08/2015.
