Except where an appointment has been agreed with the Employer prior to the effective date, the contractor shall appoint a competent and experienced representative (contractor’s representative) approved by the employer (which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld or delayed) to act on contractor’s behalf of the purposes of this contract. Such contractor’s representative shall be present on the Site during normal working hours and should not be absent from site during normal working hours for more than 3 consecutive business days at a time without the prior written notice to the employer’s representative in which case a deputy shall be nominated by the contractor. The contractor’s representative shall give his whole time and attention to the performance of the services and shall exercise overall superintendence of the provision of services on behalf of the contract.
