5. STRUCTURE OF THE PROJECT CONTROL INFORMATION SYSTEM
The information system contains three main data sets as illustrated in Figure 3. The first set contains details of project's WBS, including budget cost and amount of work at each location in each working
period (BCWS). The second set contains control point's details of each work package in each period
as shown in Table 1. The maximum numbers of control points designed for this information system is four. This means that in each work package, it is allowed to have the maximum of four control points. This second data set can be established according to contractor's requirement and can be used for any
projects as long as the similar work packages and control point's arrangement are applied. The third data set contains the budget of the project. The structure of this cost code can be modified according to the contractor's requirement or cost accounting structure of the organization.
