I just got a reply from the vendor regarding scrap lot #40.
At this point, they still have a few to be cleared to make later work simple and easier.
1. Re: IT-20150123M, I don’t know how the current situation is, but when you informed me of the weight left somewhere in your factory at that time,
there were 13.14 kg remained unprocessed, correct ?
So, let’s not ship 185.50 kg of brass chips this time. Why don’t you leave them till you finish whole lot(=500 kg) on IT-20150123M completely ?
2. According to your mail dated April 27th, you have some brass bar scraps of 34 kg (U25MP & A44P) in total : quite a little to put in a container bag.
Now, the vendor is wondering as below.
☆ Would there be any possiblity for you to put those 9 kg of U25MP in a smaller bag and 16 kg of A44P in another smaller bag, like a plastic bag or
something ?
☆ (If the above is impossible,) would it be OK if I asked you to put 9 kg of U25MP into bag #32 (or #33) ? As long as they’re U25MP, Sanetsu Metal
would accept. Similarly 16 kg of A44P into bag #67 ? In either case, I’d have to be extra careful in making the shipping document, though.
As you commented, they are too small in quantity to put in a regular container bag ; I can understand it. But we have to wait for a toooooooo long
till weight of the bars get ready to ship. I believe that, at certain moment in the future, you eventually have to mix them with bars from different
invoice as long as the composition of the material is identical.
