We have a recent case of data integrity breach, where one customer’s data was forwarded to another customer. And to make matter worse, an internal email trail between all BCD parties working on this breach was sent to the customer. This customer is now scrutinizing every single piece of information we have on the data they received.
This is a very serious breach of data integrity with severe implications. Our legal teams are also involved.
Please ensure that your market handles data with extreme care, due diligence before sending. And double check to ensure that you are sending to the correct recipients. Only authorized person can receive these data. Our customers expect good, accurate and timely data with zero tolerance for any breach of data integrity.
In the event if you realised that there is a mishandling, please immediately inform CDS, via SDP, copied regional operations, and followed up with a call to CDS. Do not contact the customers until you first consulted CDS team. And please do not keep this within your team. We want to hear from you and take quick, appropriate action and instead of hearing from the customer.
