The urase and Avail N were improved in NS and
HS treatments and mainly correlated to bacteria, fungi and total PLFA, while correlated negatively with G+/Gand
NS/MS; the RDA analysis further suggested that intercropping of peanut with maize increased urase and Avail
N, and alleviated nutrient stress in peanut rhizosphere, which was due to the improvement of soil microbial
community, especially due to the increase of G-. Both PLFA- based RDA and cluster analysis showed
rhizosphere microbial community structure in non-separated and half separated treatments of both crops was more
similar and clustered together, while distinct separation was observed between completely separated peanut and
maize, suggesting an alteration of rhizospheric microbial community composition and activity in different
intercropping treatments.
