10. In response to these disclosures, Sadia’s ADRs dropped $5.77 per ADR to close
at $9.50 on September 26, 2008, a one day decline of 37.79% on extremely high trading volume
of more than 5 million shares. As a result of Defendants’ wrongful acts, false and misleading statements and omissions, and the precipitous decline in the market value of the Company’s
securities, Lead Plaintiffs and other Class members have suffered significant losses and damages.
