The first instar of An. stephensi LC 50 and LC 90 values of
46.80毺 L/mL and 79.50 毺 L/mL were recorded respectively.
The LC50 and LC90 values of 79.00 毺 L/mL and 95.60 毺 L/mL
were recorded against second instar. In case of third instar
the LC50 and LC90 values 79.00 毺 L/mL and 136.9 0毺 L/mL
were found. While the fourth instar the LC
50 and LC90 values 122.60 毺 L/mL and 174.50 毺 L/mL were fond significantly effective (Figure 1 ). Similarly, the culture filtrates of
S. citreofluorescens were also found significantly effective against Cx. quinquefasciatus. The LC 50 and LC 90 values of 40.00 毺 L/mL and 138.03 毺 L/mL against first instar,80.00 毺 L/mL and 181.97 毺 L/mL against second instar,100.00 and 309.20 毺 L/mL against third instar and 60.00 and 169.82 毺 L/mL values were calculated against fourth
instars of Cx. quinquefasciatus (Figure 2). Moreover, these culture filtrates were also evaluated against larvae of Ae. aegypti. The LC 50 and LC 90 values of 80.00 毺 L/mL
and 181.97 毺 L/mL against first instar, 100.00 毺 L/mL and
213.79 毺 L/mL against second instar, 120.00 毺 L/mL and
371.43 毺 L/mL against third instar, and 122.60 毺 L/mL and
174.50 毺 L/mL against fourth instar of Ae. aegypti (Figure 3,
Table 1).
