Animals in General
On your farm it is possible to have 32 animals divided evenly of course in their barns. You can have eight, chickens, cows, horses and sheep. So once you have enough money you can go to the farmer's union and purchase your animal. Tough before you buy any animals, you need at least a couple patches of grass in their pasture for each type. These patches of grass are 3x3 and when the animals are outside they will eat them. A cow will need six patches while a chicken only needs three. You can cut this grass to make fodder (animal food). Every day be sure to give your animal fodder. You can get this fodder from the fodder bin in the barn, so if you have two animals give them two fodders. When there pregnant they still need fodder so don’t forget to feed mom!

Reproduction
To reproduce you need a male and female of each of that animal. To get them pregnant, go up to the female and ask if she wants to go outside answer no, then a second option will appear (if she’s an adult) asking if you want a baby. The next day the mother will be in the special stall. Depending on the animal, the baby will be born a certain amount of days later. Also, the baby will take a certain amount of days to reach adult hood. If a cow or horse is having a baby it’s usually really hard to predict what color the baby will be (for example the black cow can have a baby brown cow).

Daily Chores
Everyday there are a couple things you should do to your animals. No matter what the animal, you should at least talk to it; any other animal you should brush it and collect its produce (if it's a female). On nice days you should let it outside (be sure to bring it in before night fall) and be sure to feed it every day! After you do this every day your animals should start gaining hearts, the hearts represent the affection your animal has towards you. The more hearts the better the produce! So after a while your chicken has ten hearts it will turn golden! Now it will produce better eggs golden and they sell much higher.
