It in true, as we said earlier,that the multiple - intelligences/learning-styles movement has grabbed the attention of working teacher in a way that other theories haven’t.They certainly seem overused in teachers’ language. The reduce version - VAK (visual/auditory/Kinaesthetic learning) – is even more rife. It’s a good thing that teacher are talking about learning , and ther’s no doubt that their practice has become more vital and varied as a result;but we should be careful and thoughtful about these ideas.
