Dewy make up is all about the shine, right? But there are only certain parts that should show the dew.
Photo #1: This is how oily skin looks like. Angelina Jolie is still gorgeous though!
The T-Zone, apples of the cheeks, entire chin & entire nose should not show too much shine. Not all parts should be shiny! Unless you wanna look like you’re soaked in oil~!
The dewy finish should only be in the higher parts of the face. Places where the light will hit first.
Photo #2: Natural glow of the beautiful Son Ye-Jin.
Now that we know what’s the difference of Dewy Skin to Oily Skin, let’s talk about how to do the Fresh & Dewy Skin Makeup!
THINGS YOU NEED:
1. Pearl Finish Primers/Liquid Highlighters/Face Volumer [MUST!]
2. BB Cream/Liquid Foundation that has a Dewy/Moist/Semi-Matte/Shimmer Finish
3. Face Highlighter (Liquid/Stick/Powder) [OPTIONAL]
Makeup Know-How:
STEP 1: Your face should be very clean to avoid the make up being trapped in your pores. Apply a toner or an essence to the entire face using a cotton/cosmetic pad. When using a toner, I prefer using a toner with a thick consistency (Lioele Skin/Missha Skin/Isa Knox X2D2 Skin) rather than the watery ones which are more of an astringent.

STEP 2: Apply a primer with a pearl/dewy finish combined with your bb cream all over the face. Avoid using gel/balm primers because those will give you a matte finish. (You can use the volumer + bb cream too but there’s no need to apply a pearl base)
