Isotactic polypropylene (iPP) is one of the most important commercial
plastic due to its relatively low-cost, recyclability, good
mechanical properties and good processability [1–11]. The crystal
morphology, spherulite size and the degree of crystallinity are
widely known to directly affect the mechanical and the thermal
properties and the processing time of iPP [12–16]. Upon cooling,
the iPP chains can crystallize to form crystals of different spatial
arrangements namely monoclinic (a), trigonal (b), orthorhombic
(c) and smectic [4,12].
