Much effort has been made to develop sensitive and selective DNA assay. Among them, traditional techniques, including fluorescence, colorimetry, electrochemistry, surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS), surface plasmon and light scattering and force, are employed.The detection of limit is low enough for routine detection. However, most of the traditional techniques are expensive, which is not easily available to the public. What is more, sophisticated instrument and operations are required in those methods, which have limited its application
