The company describes it as “a solid resort investment offering from established development partners the Absolute World Group and leading international agent Jones Lang LaSalle”.
Like the first phase, the second sold out off plan last year. Construction is now underway and expected to be complete by the second quarter of next year.
The resort will have 50 apartments in a combination of units for sale and time shares. It is close to the site of the Rosewood Resort, currently under construction, and the Merlin Beach Resort.
Speaking at the ground-breaking, Bryan Lunt, CEO of Absolute, said, “It is very encouraging to see the huge success of Phase I after one year of resort operation, and today we start on a new journey with the construction of Phase II.
“We look forward to launching Phase III soon, once again in partnership with leading international agent Jones Lang LaSalle.”
Pre-launch prices for Phase III will be not be announced until later this month, but are expected to start at around B100,000 per sqm upwards. The third phase will consist of apartments and “villa-style apartments”, connected by waterways and waterfalls, located in the resort grounds in which the developers will also build a 360º Wellness Centre.
Absolute Twin Sands Resort & Spa is being developed in partnership with Aplan properties, with estate management by JLL and architecture by Studio906.
Absolute will also open its “boutique private residence club”, The Beach Samui, on Koh Samui, in May this year. The company’s website is www.absolutetwinsands.com.
