MANAGER
1. Inform the Hotel Manager.
2. Conduct search of the hotel by systematically designating areas to be searched. Assign areas to all involved and send individuals to areas with which they are already familiar – when at all possible. Utilize Bomb Threat Search Check List attached.
3. The search should be made quickly, but without alarming any guests or employees.
4. Inform all employees involved in search that if any suspicious article is found, DO NOT TOUCH IT and DO NOT USE HAND HELD RADIOS when in its vicinity.
5. The decision to call the Bomb Disposal Unit shall be made by the Hotel Manager, or front office supervisor : Request Bomb Disposal Unit and inform them of situation.
6. Evacuation of any area shall be made only upon orders from the Hotel Manager or the Police Department.
NOTE: In a life-threatening situation, approval to evacuate is not necessary, but use caution so as not to cause panic.
7. If determined to be a false alarm, notify the Operator and concerned management personnel.
8. Fill out necessary incident reports and/or logs.
