A banquet manager’s job begins after the event sale is made, the contract is signed and continues after the last guest has left. Banquet managers work with banquet sales directors and chefs to ensure that all of the terms of a contract are met and that guests receive the highest quality in food service and overall experience.
JOB FUNCTION: Responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the food and beverage services offered throughout the hotel, including minibar, Room Service and Catering; as well as related guest services through effective direction, leadership and supervision.
Continually maintain & exceed all standards of service, guest satisfaction & staff development.
Develop an environment, encourages employees to be happy, motivated & proud of the products and services provided by them,
Develop a loyal following amongst guests, thus increasing business and furthering the hotel’s reputation of providing a quality experience.
