The source of Cu2+ pollution in water is mainly waste effluents generated by various industries which include electroplating, wood, painting, textile, and paper industries. Cu2+ from water enters the
food chain and reaches human body especially through fish. Hence,
Cu2+ determination inwater and biological samples is of considerable
significance. The prime techniques being employed to detect Cu2+ are
atomic absorption spectrometry, inductively coupled plasma-atomic
emission spectrometry and inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry
