of CO2enrichment on photosynthesis and growth before and afterthe midday depression.Gerbera jamesonii is an herbaceous perennial, belonging to thefamily Asteraceae which originates from Southern Africa and Asia. As a worldwide important commercial cut flower, gerbera is extensively favored for its big flowers, brightly amplecolors, and perpetual blooming phase. As theresponses to CO2enrichment in gerbera are not elaborately inves-tigated, we select the plant as the material for experiment. In thisreport, we studied the effects of daytime and morning CO2enrich-ment on photosynthesis and growth in G. jamesonii in the open-topplastic greenhouses. The purpose of this study tried to provide theexperimental data of the relationship between CO2enrichment andthe horticultural quality, which should support the economical andeffective method for further commercial application in the cuttingflowers
