Questions from crew
• Respect the rights of crew requesting personal leave – if not important then there would not be a request.
SD: We will take each case on a case by case basis depending on the nature, seriousness and personal impairment of the individual.
• Please print document on hospital expenses coverage for spouse and children.
SD : You are entitled to reimbursement of In Patient (Hospitalization), and Out Patient Medical Treatment expenses of your legal spouse and children up to a maximum of 1 (one) month’s base salary per year. The original of medical certificates and receipts must be submitted.
• Would like to know the salary adjustment percentage.
• Is quarterly bonus still the same? What is the percentage of the salary?
• Will there be any salary adjustment to market standard?
SD :
-Pay increase has been adjusted with effective on 1 Apr. Employee may receive pay increase letter and pay slip next week at home.
-VPE policy will remain unchanged. There’re 16 rigs in average operating in Thailand in Q1, Employee got 15% VPE in this quarter through payroll as stated in the internal memo.
-We believe the pay increase is competitive rate.
• Please review travel allowance because cost of living have increased.
SD : Acknowledged. The travel allowance amount has been adopted from Transocean. Company may do more research for further consideration, if necessary to adjust the allowance.
• Can hospital expense cover father and mother for those without family?
SD : No
• Is the work rotation change from 4/2 to 4/4 real? i.e. for Crane Operator or Pumpman?
SD : Company has decided to make the change of rotation 4/4 for Crane operator, and may take effect in June after completion of crane assessment. The exact date will be advised later.
Consideration will be taken in the future in other disciplines.
• Please have written policy/rules when dismissing an employee.
SD : We will have a the termination of employment policy in written according to the law. The exact policy will be available in employee handbook.
• Will new employees started after 1st January receive quarterly bonus?
SD : Employee who has joined company before 1st Jan, and completion of full 3 months will receive the entitlement. No VPE paid for a new hire who is not completed 3 months’ work period in quarter 1.
• Please re-implement Well bonus for all positions?
SD : This was a Chevron program and we have no control over it. Chevron have no plans to start this again at this moment.
• Safety recognition prizes like Iphone, Ipad, Ipod for work safe motivation
SD : We have established HSE award to payout quarterly.

• Equality between supervisor and crew
SD : question is unclear. No answer.
• Do we still have eyeglasses program at 5,000 Baht? Does it have to be only Safety eyeglasses or can we get regulars eyeglasses?
SD : National employees are eligible to claim the prescription eyeglasses maximum 5,000 Baht a year. Employee can claim it through expense claim including medical cert and receipt of eyeglasses for approval.
• Are all crew welfare still same as Transocean?
SD : the welfare will equal to and not less than Transocean.
• Should have toilet spray installed in every room – (normal for Thailand)
SD: There is supposed to be one in every room
• 1st Level toilet not enough for crew
SD: We unfortunately are not able to add any more toilets in this level.
• Please rectify mess room – very hot for long time
SD: We are working on a plan to make it better.
• When will Wi-Fi issue be fixed?
SD: We hope to have the system improved and operational by July
• Please change washing machine soonest?
SD: We are doing our best to keep the machines operational. They work very hard and ned a lot of maintenance.
