Maternity Leave
Female staff will be granted maternity leave for a period of 90 days including holidays both before and after the child delivery, of which 45 days are paid, for each confinement. During the period of not more than 3 months before or after child delivery, female staff may request to be put on an appropriate temporary assignment. A doctor’s certificate issued by a first class physician stating your inability to perform regular duty is required and the Firm may consider put on the duty as deemed appropriate. Maternity leave is only granted for confinement and rest period after.
Leave on account of miscarriage, abortive measures, premature birth or illness following the expiry of maternity leave is not considered as maternity leave but as normal sick leave.
