4-7 Interruption of the game
The referees can blow the whistle to stop or interrupt the game, in case safety is not secured or some other serious program happens.
In this case, the timer of the game and the robot will be stopped and the teams have to follow the referee’s instruction. The referees have an authority to restart to the game.
4-8 Falling down, out of order, fixing the robot
4-8-1 When the robot falls down, the robot has to stand up by itself, but when the robot falls down or gets to be out of order, the operator can request the restart, but only once in the game.
First, the operator requests the restart and gets approval from the referee, then one person of the team members takes the robot out of the field, and at the outside of the field the team member can fix the robot.
The operator has to declare to get the robot back to the field, then the robot can play the game again.
The position of the restart: the robot should be placed on the game start position.
The ball and the score will be kept since the game stopped, but in case the team can not place the robot on the specified position, they have to follow the referee’s instruction.
The timer will not be stopped.
4-9 Breaking the rules and penalty
4-9-1 Regarding to the robot which breaks the rules, the referee will stop the game,
The team will be scored no record as penalty.
4-9-2 The following acts are recognized as breaking the rules
(1)Contaminating the fiels, or breaking the field
(2)Preventing the other teams action
(3)Other actions against the regulations defined in the rule book
4-10 Disqualification
If a participant did action written down below, the sponsor would disqualify the participant.
4-10-1 Disqualification acts
(1) Damaging the other team’s robot intentionally
(2) Damaging the playing field intentionally
(3) Not obeying the referee’s judgement
(4) Disturb the other team’s operation
(5) Being late at the game twice at the preliminary
4-10-2 The judgement of disqualification will be decided by referee.
Also, there might be the case that the judgement the member will decide the disqualification in accordance with other member’s opinion after or before the game
5. Safety countermeasure
If an accident occurs, we have to call off the tournament. Please pay attention to the safety measures below not only during the tournament but also during preparation.
5-1 Safety measures
5-1-1 If any defects of the robot are found or the robot gets to be out of control, the team has to declare to the referees and stop the robot.
5-1-2 Flying things you can’t control like balloons are prohibited.
5-1-3 The practice of the games should be done under the condition of careful consideration for safety.
5-2 Evacuation in case of disaster
If a disaster occurs during the tournament, the sponsor will cancel the games.
The participants have to abide by sponsor’s instruction for evacuation.
5-3 For security reasons and smooth progress of the games, the game project and rules could be changed.
5-4 Sharing the information
The technology or curriculum developed and invented by participants though this tournament, can be shared by after the tournament all the participants.
