V. EXAMPLE OF MEASUREMENT RESULTS
The DC field probe has been used for experiments on basic
geometries, to improve the general understanding of the field
distribution. It has also been used for measurements on high
voltage apparatus, for more product specific evaluations. As an
example, some results from measurements of the DC field
around an HVDC transformer bushing are shown below, in
Fig. 5 and Fig. 6. Measurements were performed with different
voltages applied to the bushing, and with the probe at different
positions along the bushing.
