4. Discussion
The organo-mineral fertilizer used in the current study
generated positive findings as a result of overcoming the harmful
effects of soil salinity by the Ca2+ (Greenway and Munns, 1980)
and humic acid (Osman and Ewees, 2008) presented in this
organo-mineral fertilizer. The healthy metabolic status of the
stressed plants grown in saline soil applied with the organo-mineral
fertilizer resulted in the healthy plant growth, in terms of
