Symbiosis Relationship Symbiosis comes from the Greek words that mean "with" and "living." It describes a close relationship between two organisms from different species. It is sometimes, but not always, beneficial to both parties. Based on the type of benefits that the interacting species obtain from the relationship, symbiosis relationship is divided into four categories:
Commensalism
Parasitism
Mutualism
Endosymbiosis and ectosymbiosis
