Thai food is healthy because it's natural. First, let's get one thing straight. MSG is in everything. I don't know anyone who would consider that "natural." Secondly, most of what you will be eating will be fried--fried rice, pad thai, all the things you can say. They have a lot of oil. It's not healthy. That being said, I lose a lot of weight for unknown reasons when I am living in Thailand, and the food must be part of it.
Thai people love everyone. I have heard that it is not uncommon for a Thai to refer to a Black person as a "black dog." Thais have a very low point of view of Cambodians and Burmese. They think Laos is ridiculously poor. They think India and Indians and Indian food is dirty. They basically don't really like anybody except for Western Europe, the US, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea. I am exaggerating, but it is worth noting.
