The Hill-Side has just released their second seasonal collection of made-in-Japan, vulcanized sneakers, which feature a range of distinctive fabrics from the Autumn/Winter 2014 collection. This season is the first their footwear is offered in three classic shapes: low-top, chukka, and high-top. They've shared with us a recent tour of the factory they work with in Japan, highlighting the start to finish process of their sneakers.
The heavy duty vulcanized construction and hand assembly, ensures that each shoe is held to the highest of standards before leaving the factory floor. Additionally, you'll find each sneaker has a reinforced, textured toe cap and toe guard, with a rugged herringbone patterned tread on the outsole to maximize wearability, especially through the colder months. These shoes run about a half-size larger than standard shoe sizes, so keep this in mind when ordering.
