I had recently read this novel that has changed my outlook on college life and that not everyone is read for this life right after high school. The novel called, “Acceptance” by Susan Coll, talked about how important it was for a student like me to do good in high school and to manage a high gpa as well. Advance placement classes were key as well as high SAT scores or ACT scores. These scores were a must to have if you want to go to the college or university of your dreams. Except not everyone can make these dreams come true without lots of hard work and dedication. You have to have the devotion to your school work like an owner has to their business. Making friends or acquaintances with the same mindset can help you stick to the straight and narrow towards your dream but only you can fulfill it entirely on your own. In this novel, these three teens stuck together through it all even though it lasted a year.
