Nitrogen and oxygen compounds are confirmed to have small influences on the ECT of mineral insulating oil, with the additional consideration that the concentrations of nitrogen and oxygen compounds in mineral insulating oil are smaller by more than one order of magnitude than the concentration of sulfur compounds.
Therefore sulfide compounds contained in mineral insulating oil in the brand-new condition and their oxides have a large influence on the increases of ECT.
