Barack Obama is famous for becoming the first African American to be President of the United States. He was born August 4, 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii and is the 44th President of United States. He graduated at Columbia University and Harvard Law School where he was the president of the Harvard Law Review. He was also the Illinois senator from January 2005 until he resigned following his success in the 2008 presidential elections.
