Principles of Process Consultation
Principles of Process Consultation (PC) follows closely the phases of planned change described in Chapter 2: entering, defining the relationship, selecting an approach, gathering data and making a diagnosis, intervening, reducing the involvement, and terminating the relationship. When used in process consultation, however, these stages are not so clear-cut. As a philosophy of helping in relationships, Schein proposes ten principles to guide the process consultant’s actions.
