Morphological and genetical analysis
The electron microscopy showed that H. pylori CPY3401 had a
curved body with a bundle of sheathed flagella at one pole (Fig. 3A),
whereas strain NHP1 was rod-shaped with no flagella and sometimes
appeared in pairs (Fig. 3B).
The basic local alignment search tool showed that the 16S rRNA
sequence of NHP1 had the highest similarity with the gene of K.
