Individuals
were found in the shaded area in the zero UV-B (filtered 2.0 bulb)
treatment to the end of the experiment on Day 14, to Day 7 in the
2.0 bulb, and to Day 5 in the 10.0 bulb. Adult F. candida preferred
to lay eggs in the dark areas, despite the fact that individuals were
found in the shaded and illuminated areas up to 6 days into the
experiment (Fig. 3).
