First, we examined whether the two different mood induction groups (i.e., MIP and PGI) differed in relation to demographic variables (i.e., child age, gender, socioeconomic status) and grade in math. Moreover, the two groups were tested for potential differences in the pre-induction phase in relation to basic academic math performance and reported mood (i.e., SAM and POMS-A scales).
