It is argued that good knowledge management involves
the continuous streamlining of these processes to
improve the learning capacity of the organization.
Therefore, a corporate memory must be organized in
such a way that it maximally supports each of them.
However, it is not sufficient to have a corporate memory
that supports each of these processes separately. In actual
organizations the processes interact in complex ways and
the nature of these interactions should be taken into
account as well. For example, the ability to combine
different types of knowledge depends on the way
knowledge is distributed in the organization.
