Days had gone by. Anthony slumped in his chair,and logged onto Youtube. When something got his attention. His jaw dropped and his eyes went wide. He didn't cheer,he didn't do anything,he was just in complete shock. Jumping up,he grabbed his phone,and called Ian,his fingers trembling.

"Come on,pick up,pick up…"

When the dialing sound stopped,and hearing a clicking sound,Anthony gave Ian no time to speak.

"Ian! Ian Ian Ian! C-come over! Now!"

"Woah,what happened?"

"Just come over!"

Ian could tell something was up,but judging by Anthony's tone of voice,full of excitement and happiness,the surprise wasn't bad.

Anthony opened the door and pulled Ian in by the arm.

"Come quick!" Anthony was pushing Ian into his room.

Ian stopped himself and walked into Anthony's room. He looked at his best friend pointing to the screen. And there it was… the number 24 million appeared. Ian gasped and put his hand over his mouth.

"Oh my god…"

"Dude,we're famous! We have the most views on the FRIGGIN SITE!"

Ian jumped up and high fived Anthony. They both danced around and cheered.

Ian shrugged and sighed. But then he lifted his head up. "Anthony."

With just one click of a webcam,a song,and just plain madness,Ian and Anthony made lip syncing videos,and then moved on to real skits,where Ian came up with the ideas,and Anthony edited. Their subscribers kept going up,and their fame also. Their success came to Food Battle 2006,as it still continues. When they graduated,they hugged each other to death,knowing that they didn't need college; they needed a camera and some humor. Throughout the years,they got older,physically,but they know never mentally. They got their own crew. They felt like movie stars. Also getting to meet other famous Youtubers,such as Shane Dawson.

"We got a million subscribers!" Ian screamed running to Anthony. Anthony also screamed in excitement and danced,along with Ian joining.

Through their cosplays,as either Link and Ganondorf,Connor and George Washington,Mario and Luigi,they still had the best times as best friends. They always loved meeting their fans,and signing autographs. They both stayed to each other as they won awards at Vidcon. The both of them would still look at their science project from sixth grade and smile,remembering how their friendship started.

Through the laughs,tears,smiles,and fights,Ian and Anthony would still vow to be a team. Anthony would sometimes give Ian piggyback rides through the park not giving a damn if people were staring. Friends would just stop. Best friends would laugh at the people staring and keep being themselves. More and more years passed,and they still kept each other close,making videos. As they got in their later 30's,they stuck more to their real life,going out for a drink now and then,but still made videos. Interview by interview,subscriber by subscriber. It was paradise. The two would always keep up with their other channels,eating lunch like they were 5,opening mail like dogs,Ian being bored,making cartoons,and playing video games,even though Ian hated the scary games. The two decided to take a small break and travel around the world,but still make blogs where they were.

But once they got to their 50's,their videos came out slower. Their viewers became older as well and focused on the real world. Ian would look at Anthony,and Anthony would look at Anthony,with worried looks. But they still didn't give up. They would make their videos a little more age-like,like a comedy stand up,but still admired the child in their hearts. They would look back at their videos,remembering the times while they were younger.

One night,Ian was organizing his room,when Anthony walked in. Ian saw him,and stayed silent. Anthony walked over and handed his best friend the PIkachu plush that would appear in some videos. Ian grabbed it,and looked at Anthony.

"We're still a team,Ian…right?"

Anthony chuckled and patted Ian on the back.

The two still kept their vows to make videos. But since they were getting older,some of their partners they worked with had moved on. They were married,had kids,and a real job. Even though Ian and Anthony understood,they were still bummed out.

Years kept going. They seemed so quick. Ian and Anthony were about 78 years old. Since they were now considered elderly,they weren't strong enough to keep up with their videos anymore. Anyone who watched the video could've easily told that the two tried not to burst into tears. They went so far,and it was a shame that their career had to end. They still kept the channel for everyone to see their success,and they still kept their friendship. Ian would take good care of Anthony since it was that time of age where your lungs get insecure and you get horribly weak. Ian would have to actually carry Anthony up the stairs. Even though Ian wasn't that strong either,he wasn't weak compared to Anthony. Anthony had to go to numerous trips to the hospital and sometimes had to stay there for weeks.

On a cold,crisp night,at 1 AM,Ian heard a loud thud. He walked as fast as he could to see what happened,to see Anthony on the floor,whimpering in pain. Ian gasped and kneeled down to Anthony and shook his shoulder.

"Anthony! Anthony,no!" he cried in fear.

Anthony coughed rapidly,grabbing onto Ian's shirt collar for help. Ian grabbed the phone and dialed 911,his hands shaking. Once he hang up,he lied down to his best friend,put his hand on his chest,and bursts into tears.

Ian sat in the waiting room,holding his Ash Ketchum hat. Anthony always told him to keep the hat close,as it "Will always keep the best memories". A tear ran down Ian's wrinkly cheek. He wiped it away,and took a deep breath,looking at a ceiling light. Suddenly,a doctor slowly walked out and stared at Ian. Ian stared back,waiting for a response. There was no words…just a shaking head.

"We're…sorry,sir…"

Ian looked down and sighed. His throat had a lump,his breathing became intense,and his eyes became watery.

"You can come see him…"

Ian slowly stood up and walked into the hospital room,seeing Anthony,pale skinned,and so peaceful like. Walking over to him,Ian sat down in a chair and looked at his best friend. Tears fell down his face,as he grabbed Anthony's hand. He looked at his Ash hat and hugged it.

"I'm sorry,A-Anthony…I'm really s-sorry…"

At Anthony's funeral,everyone who quit the Smosh business were there. Almost everyone who was in their videos. Ian was wearing his Ash hat,even though it was out of ordinary for a funeral,he did it for his best friend. When the funeral was over,Ian was the only one still there. Mari looked over. "Ian…? Are you coming?"

Ian shook his head. "No,lemme…lemme stay here,okay…"

Mari looked at him one last time before leaving. Ian went over to the tombstone and softly placed the Ash Ketchum hat on the grass.

"Thanks for the memories,Anthony…you were the very best…"

Ian buried his face in his hands as he sobbed for a few moments,until he lifted his head up. "Like no one ever was…"

He looked one very last time at his best friend's tombstone,and walked away,the leaves flying near his feet,the memories flying back. But he stopped smiled a little bit. Because even though Anthony was gone,they promised they would always be a team until the very end. And there is no end,even when Ian passes.
