Hi,
You are back in Phuket. I had flowers and candy for you on your birthday. The flowers died and I gave the candy to neighboring children.
Sweetie, I've spent well over a year and invested well over 2 million Baht to make your dream come true and I've succeeded. What's been missing is you. The last couple of text messages pretty much summed things up for me.
I'm leaving on May 6th and will spend enough time in the U.S. to have my body and vision repaired. When I return to Asia, it will be to Hong Kong and then to the folkscycle facility in Foshan, China. Whether or not I return to Chiang Mai will depend on how I feel, physically.
I won't deny that I've been upset with your absence but not even a phone call this trip was the final straw. (You are familiar with that phrase I hope.)
I thank you again for the cookies and I guess the neighbor kids would thank you for the candy if you were here, but this will be the last time you hear from me.
Phuket and the other resort islands are like big sand boxes filled with children. Stay in your sandbox and play well with the other children.
Bye bye,
Wayne
