His Majesty's condition remains unstable
His Majesty the King's condition has failed to stabilise and royal doctors have prescribed drugs to treat his symptoms, according to the Royal Household Bureau.
In the 38th statement issued last night, the bureau said that on Tuesday, His Majesty's blood pressure dropped while his pulse and the levels of acid in his blood increased.
The result of a blood test showed inflammation and abnormal functioning of the liver, so royal doctors prescribed antibiotics to treat the inflammation and took steps to treat the acidity in his blood.
The royal doctors also used drugs to control his blood pressure, provided a ventilator and performed continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT).
Royal doctors are closely monitoring his condition, it said.
