2.1. Plant material

Pathogen isolates from several greenhouses of the West Mediterranean region of Turkey (Fig. 1, Table 2) were inoculated on seedlings of susceptible commercial tomato variety (İkram, Syngenta) at the six-leaf stage. The plants were maintained in a growth chamber under 25 ± 10 °C and nearly 500 J/cm2 light intensity with irrigation once every 2 days.
