1. The Faith:
This is the theoretical part of Islam that a Muslim should first absolutely believe in. It is epitomized by declaring a testimony when embracing Islam by saying: "I testify that there is no God but one God, and Muhammad is his servant and messenger".
This was the first thing that Islam called for in Mecca, that they believe in one God the creator of this universe and to abandon their idols made of wood and rocks .
2. The Islamic Law ‘Sharia’:
It is the way of life for Muslims that is based on the faith and as stated in the Quran. It includes the following:
1. Observing the main pillars of Islam i.e. praying, fasting, Zakah (alms-giving), the testimony, and the pilgrimage, whenever possible. These five essential pillars that are ordained by the Quran and explained by Prophet Muhammad must be observed by each Muslim. They are responsible for their way of life before God.
2. Organizing and monitoring relationships between people and making sure that a strong and rich man will not try to dominate a weak or a poor man. Also, a Muslim should treat people the same way he likes to be treated.
3. Regulating financial affairs and introducing the rules that preserve rights for individual's property.
