X Factor contestant James Graham wishes he had handled the possibility of fatherhood better.
Graham’s former girlfriend Molly Ranger told The Sun that James, now 18, ‘begged’ her to have an abortion when she revealed she was pregnant.
Molly added that when she sadly lost the baby two weeks later, the X Factor contestant was nowhere to be seen.
Stereo Kicks’ James is saddened by Molly’s comments, and is said to regret his actions at the time as he ‘didn’t feel mature enough’ to become a father at such a young age.
A source close to the singer said: ‘James is disappointed such a private matter has been discussed publicly.
‘He isn’t proud of how he handled the situation or what he said to Molly. He realises he should have been more sensitive and supportive but he panicked rather than thinking things through.
