Data analysis
Data were entered, cleaned and analyzed using SPSS
statistical package version 16.0. One way ANOVA
was used to test if there are statistical differences in
the tested parameters among the water sources.
Spearman’s correlation was used to check if there is
correlation between bacteriological and
physicochemical parameters. The results of
bacteriological and physicochemical analyses were
compared with national and WHO guidelines for
drinking water. P-value < 0.05 was considered to
indicate statistically significant association
