You didn't actually take the picture... and then you tried to pass off the quality as your own? If someone made me a painting, I wouldn't go around using the painting in commercial use as if I actually painted it. Legally you might be within your "rights", morally- I wouldn't stand next to you if I was near one of those cliffs...You're crazy and this post has been facetious. The elephant picture is by far, the best out of the lot..so you knew what you were doing. You feel terrible because you got caught, not because you did it.
I don't know what is worse- the justifications you're trying to spin to yourself and him about what "stealing" is, as if YOU are an authority on morals.
Or exploiting your own depression to set yourself apart as a photographer to get eyeballs on your pictures. This has been a disgusting read.( Newsflash: How many fine artists or photographers aren't depressed or dealing with anxiety disorders?)
