CIGS solar cells possess excellent light trapping ability due to favorable band gap and broadband light absorption , which are effective light-absorbing materials in thin-film solar cells. CIGS solar cells have the highest reported polycrystalline thin film efficiency of any material of just over 20% . Recently, cost reduction and power conversion efficiency (PCE) development of CIGS solar cells have been still the main focuses of CIGS research. One of the best approaches to improve the performance of devices in cost efficiency would be taking full advantage of solar incidence by introducing ARCs.
