3.2. Total flavonoids contents
The total flavonoid content in all neem crude extracts of stems
was determined through aluminum chloride method based on the
quercetin standard curve (Figure 2)[14]. The highest amount of the
total flavonoids was in hexane (484.50 mg/100 g dry powdered
samples) and the lowest was in butanol (136.50 mg/100 g dry
powdered samples) and followed by ethyl acetate (339.50 mg/100
g), methanol (314.00 mg/100 g), chloroform (151.00 mg/100 g) and
butanol (136.50 mg/100 g) among the five stems crude extracts.
