Avoid keeping people in the hot sun or cold for long periods of time during distributions, interviews, vaccinations, etc.
Be honest and do not make promises you cannot keep
Understand your role and how it is viewed by the community.
Be familiar with the local politics
Provide clear messages regarding your services
Have police and/or local security personnel discreetly on stand-by if necessary
Ensure there is enough on hand for everyone when distributing items
