Activity of halocin SH10 on the cells of indicator bacteria
BTSH03 was studied by monitoring the cell lysis under phase
contrast microscope. Stationary phase cells of indicator strain
Halorubrum sp. BTSH03 was mixed with halocin SH10
(1024 AU/ml) on a microtitre plate and incubated for different
time intervals. Samples were drawn at regular intervals and observed
under the microscope. Images were captured and presented
as photomicrographs.
