The samples were cooled on ice, the steel balls
were removed and 1 mL CTAB buffer (0.02 M Na-EDTA, 126 mM
sorbitol, 36.8 mM n-lauroylsarcosine, 22 mM CTAB, 90 mM
polyvinylpyrrolidone, 10 mM Tris, 0.8 M NaCl at pH 8.0), 2 lL
b-mercaptoethanol and 1 lL proteinase K (0.1 g/L) was added.
